For 12 years Ariel was trapped inside an ancient oak after Sycorax the evil witch and last human inhabitant of the island imprisoned him there. With the evil witch dead, only her horrid son Caliban wandered the island and mocked Ariel’s wails of despair. Deeply grateful to Prospero for his release, Ariel becomes his Masters familiar spirit and does his every whim all the while tormenting Caliban’s new misfortune at becoming Prospero's slave. But with this tempest is coming a change of wind for everyone and maybe Ariel will be free at last.
