For as long as she can remember, Miranda has been alone with only her father Prospero, and the spirits of the island for company. Often sequestered with his books, Miranda has free range of the island and wanders at will.

 When a terrible storm fills her thoughts with a shipwreck, little does she know that her life is about to change forever. Soon she will find out what "a brave new world" it really is as a royal host is shipwrecked upon her island.  An even more importantly, Miranda is about to meet her true love in the form of Prince Ferdinand.  This is a tempest that blows the winds of change for everyone.
